Featured TV on DVD Review: Star Trek: Enterprise: Season Four

April 25th, 2014

Star Trek: Enterprise ends its home market run this weekend (unless they put out a Blu-ray Megaset or 4K releases in the future). The first two seasons were not well-received by critics, but season three started to show some promise. Can Season Four continue this forward progress? Or is there a good reason it was the last season of this show? More...

Featured TV on DVD Review: Star Trek: Enterprise: Season Three

December 27th, 2013

Star Trek: Enterprise ran for four seasons, which means the series is already halfway done its Blu-ray run. On the seventh of January, the film's third season hits Blu-ray. It was to look at the very early days of humans exploring the galaxy and taking their place in pre-Federation times. The pilot, Broken Bow was seen by more than 12.6 million people. However, the average viewership for season one was just under 6 million and by the time the series was canceled after the fourth season, the show's ratings had fallen to under half of that. It obviously didn't live up to the hype, but now that the show's been off the air for nearly a decade and the hype is not an issue, is it worth going back and rediscovering the show? More...
