Synopsis

Everybody loves Jonah - especially the ladies. He's young, hot, sharing a cool house with his best friends Gus and Stevie, and throwing parties that rock AND keep the bills paid. Then: that awkward moment when your random one-night-stand asks, is that a lump? Boom. Jonah's got testicular cancer. His life isn't at risk, but the impending treatment will leave him completely infertile. Jonah realizes, to everyone's shock: he wants to be a dad. His attempts at the sperm bank are a failure. His only choice is natural conception and he's gotta procreate within the next four weeks before it's too late. What follows is a rousing (get it?) parade of ex-girlfriends, mistaken match-ups, surrogate slip-ups and a whole lot of Baby Daddy Drama. Poor Jonah may be out of options - until he starts listening to his friends AND his heart, and realizes that a perfect candidate might be closer than anyone would think. With paternal instincts firing, Jonah becomes determined to procreate before it’s too late.

April 16th, 2013

It is both a great week and a terrible week on the home market. On the high end, Django Unchained is coming out. It is one of the biggest hits of the fall and one of the best reviewed films of the year. It would be a contender for Pick of the Week regardless how busy the week was. On the other hand, there are releases in the Amazon.com's top ten new releases for the week that would be filler on even an average week. After Django Unchained, there's no real depth this week. The Blu-ray Combo Pack doesn't have a lot of extras, but it is still worthy of Pick of the Week honors. More...
