Synopsis
The grotesque stories of the family of sloths are a metaphor for our archetypal traits, which have not changed for centuries and make us, in the best but also the worst sense, an authentic nation. Somewhere in the hills of central Slovakia, brothers live lost in naivety and their own stupidity, which blurs the boundaries between the real world and the world of their dead ancestors. And the only thing that gives meaning to their lives are fateful women who are not afraid to lay down their lives for love. Because only a fateful woman will return to her beloved even after death.
