Synopsis

Per Theater Chart: New Releases are a Little Rusty

It was a rather slow week on the per theater chart with only two films topping the $10,000 mark, and none of them were massive hits. Rust and Bone rose to first place with an average of $12,369 in two theaters. It rose to top spot thanks to a miniscule 9% drop-off. Addicted to Limited Releases

There are not a lot of films on this week's list, but there are a couple that are earning overwhelmingly positive reviews. Both California Solo and Dragon are earning more than 80% positive reviews and hopefully one or both will find success in limited release. Also opening this week is Talaash and it could be an interesting film to keep an eye on, as Bollywood films are slowly becoming more mainstream. More...
