The Legend of Korra ended late last year. The DVD or Blu-ray came out this week, but for the first time ever, my review is late. I know I've done late reviews in the past, but that's because the screener arrived late. The Legend of Korra is a follow-up to Avatar: The Last Airbender. That cartoon earned a lot of praise and became a favorite among many people becoming popular enough to be adapted into a movie, which we will never speak of again. When a new series was announced, some were a little worried. It would have big shoes to fill. However, the first season was greeted with nearly universal praise. Recently, Modern Family won its fourth Outstanding Comedy Series at the Prime Time Emmys. This puts it just one behind Frasier for the all-time lead in that category. It has three Emmys for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series, putting it one behind M*A*S*H* in that category. It "only" has two nominations for Emmys for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, but it won both times. It has also earned nearly two dozen nominations for various acting categories, including five wins. It is easily the most acclaimed comedy series on TV at the moment, and despite being on the air for just four season so far, it is one of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time. This creates incredibly high expectations. Is it possible to live up to these expectations? Or will the show start to disappoint?

How to Train Your Dragon came out in 2010, and while it is not the biggest hit from Dreamworks, it remains their best. Since then, a sequel has been put in the works, but to fill the time, a TV series was made. Dragons: Riders of Berk is not the first TV series based on an animated movie. In fact, it is the third from Dreamworks alone. But is it worth checking out for fans of the movie? Or is it a pale imitation?
