Bend It Like Beckham Scores Again

In its second week of release, Bend It Like Beckham had a per theatre average of $22,259. This represents a drop-off of about 17% and is good enough for a repeat performance at the top of the Per Theatre charts. Comparing it to The Full Monty, again, we see that Bend It Like Beckham is a little behind in both per theatre average and total theatres. But it is too soon to declare a winner in that match.

Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film, Nowhere in Africa came in fourth with $6,968. The win should help improve its box office performance over the next few weeks.
