There's not a whole lot here at the moment, (synopsis, production journal, video journal, concept art), but what there is makes me hopeful for the website and the movie. I especially like the four frames of concept art going from graphic novel to storyboard to bluescreen shot to 'final' look.
Typical Universal placeholder site with the synopsis, image gallery and the trailer.
This site has all the usual features, (synopsis, cast & crew bios, etc.), a couple of extras marked coming soon, (clips and games) and even some sound and animation. It does have a couple of issues, firstly, the Quicktime links are down, and secondly, the bios are one huge block of text and not separate bios for each person. Even so, if the links are fixed and the clips and games are worthy, this site could turn into an award winner.
So far the site just has the synopsis and the trailer, but there's some animation here and that bodes well for the full site. On the other hand, the trailer left me cold.
Good site with all the usual information and enough sound and animation to keep a surfer's attention. Not good enough to be in contention for the Weekly Website Award, but better than a lot of sites.
One of many sites with just a trailer so far. This one left me a little cold; I like Jennifer Garner and Kevin Smith, but I couldn't get into the movie.
Just the trailer so far, which was better than I expected. It seems like Adam Sandler is serious about maturing as an actor.
Just the synopsis and the trailer, or to be more accurate, a link to the trailer. Speaking of which, it has to be one of the least funny trailers I've seen in a long, long time.
Just a link to the trailer. Can't say I'm particularly interested in the movie after seeing it. It just seems like one of million of romantic comedies coming out in time for Valentines.
All the usual features are here, (synopsis, cast & crew, image gallery, and trailer), plus enough animation to let the site stand out. On a side note, I'm a big fan of Albert Brooks, I really wanted to like this movie, but I just can't get into it.
Simple site was just the basics. It does its job, but nothing more.
Excellent site with all the usual features, (synopsis, production notes, cast & crew bios, image gallery and trailer), but it also has lots of extras including a couple of clips, half a dozen interviews, and even more podcasts. But the heart of the site is the three interactive bits, Love/Lust, All/Nothing, and Truth/Deception. Granted, they are not truly interactive as there are no branches, but they help sell the film better than the trailer itself. It is also the main reason it is the winner of the vacillating Weekly Website Award.
All the usual features are here, plus a bit of style mostly in the form of audio clips.
Simple site with all the usual features, but nothing in the way of style.
Just the trailer, which looks really bad. It looks like a paycheck movie for Robin Williams, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.
Just the trailer so far. It's intriguing, but I'm not sold on the movie just yet.
Tim Allen needs to stop making Disney movies before its too late. As for the site, it's a typical placeholder site with just the synopsis, image gallery and the trailer.
There's no real content so far, but there's more animation that usual for a placeholder site, and that bodes well for the full site.
Just the trailer so far.
Just the trailer so far, which starts out good, but by the time it ended I was no more bullish about the film's chances than I was before I watched it.
No real content so far.
