No Country for Old Men was pushed into second place with a still impressive $9.16 million for the week and $19.36 million in total. Enchanted opened in third place with $8.52 million, which is good for a film with its younger target demographic. Fellow kids flick, Bee Movie, was just behind adding $7.46 million over the week for a total of $16.49 million after two. Atonement opened in fifth place pulling in $7.25 million in sale.
A trio of other new release charted starting with The Seeker leading the best of the rest with $4.06 million for a 13th place opening. Southland Tales opened in 17th place with $3.10 million, which was more than ten times what it made theatrically. Finally, Love in the Time of Cholera earned 20th place with $2.69, just over half of what it made theatrically.
