Since this time last week, Lucy topped $200 million internationally. Considering a significant number of people thought it wouldn't reach $200 million worldwide, this is a great result. Over the weekend, it remained in first place with $24.9 million in 59 markets for totals of $230.6 million internationally and $354.1 million worldwide. The film opened in first place in Russia with $9.77 million on 1,013 screens, which was more than $9 million more than the second place film.

Into the Storm rose to second place with $14.4 million in 44 markets for an international total of $87.9 million so far. It opened in fifth place in China with $7.62 million. It failed to match its production budget domestically, so it needed a lot of help on the international market to break even. It hasn't gotten there yet, but at this pace its chances are better than 50/50.

The Expendables 3 remained in third place with $11.5 million in 28 markets for an international total of $140.0 million after a month of release. The film earned $20.04 million over the full week in China giving it $61.97 million after two weeks of release. The film bombed domestically, but if it can get past $200 million internationally, it will still have a chance at breaking even.

Sex Tape entered the top ten for the first time earning fourth place with $10.90 million on 2,882 screens for a total of $60.50 million after two months of release. The film opened in first place in Germany with $3.83 million on 628 screens over the weekend for a total opening of $4.13 million. On the other hand, it had to settle for second place in France ($1.49 million on 376 screens) and in Italy ($1.28 million on 305). The film wasn't an expensive movie to make, but it will still need help on the home market to break even.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles rose to fifth place with $10.1 million in 49 markets for totals of $138.5 million internationally and $319.6 million worldwide. The film opened in first place in Australia with $3.95 million on 492 screens over the weekend for a total opening of $5.92 million. That's equivalent to a $60 million opening here, which is better than expected.

Hercules fell to sixth place with $9.8 million in 45 markets for an international total of $138.8 million. The film had no major market openings, but it did remain in first place in Brazil with $2.56 million on 472 screens over the weekend for a two-week total of $8.69 million.

Divergent was right behind with $9.52 million over the weekend, all of which was earned in China, pushing its international total to $135.4 million. The film has done well enough to break even, but if the second installment drops significantly, it won't be a huge money maker for the studio.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was right behind with $9.5 million in 18 markets for totals of $463.9 million internationally and $670.7 million worldwide. The film added $20.08 million during the full week in China giving it a total of $102.26 million in that market so far.

Guardians of the Galaxy fell to ninth place with $9.3 million over the weekend for totals of $305.6 million internationally and $611.6 million worldwide. The film opened in Japan but failed to make much of an impact earning third place with just $2.09 million on 595 screens.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends earned first place in Japan and tenth place internationally with $8.57 million on 334 screens.

The Maze Runner just missed the top ten with $8.5 million in 5 markets. Its biggest market was Mexico, where it made $2.40 million on 1,270 over the weekend for a total opening of $2.68 million, which was enough for first place.
