Synopsis
In OUR WAR, Lévy, with co-director Marc Roussel, is back on the frontline in Ukraine in the days leading up to and during the Oval Office debacle of February 2025. He captures the incredulity and shock of the soldiers in Pokrovsk, the most ravaged part of the war zone, as the military watches this pivotal and painful moment in which the tectonic plates of the international world order shift before the eyes of the world. From there, Lévy embeds with elite drone units who are implementing the most advanced war technologies to date and follows the frontline to Sumy, just days before the horrific Palm Sunday massacre. With unprecedented access, Lévy’s exclusive and rare footage demonstrates why this barbaric war waged by Russia is existential; why Ukraine must win and why victory for Ukraine is possible, despite the pessimism of global arm-chair experts.
