Synopsis
Subaru Morishita had been dating his girlfriend Miki for three years and was soon to marry her, but one day she died in a traffic accident. As he spent his days in a daze, overcome with inexpressible pain and grief, he was urged by his mother Yoko to return to his hometown of Gifu for the first time in a long while. Yoko had also lost her husband in an accident and was still hurting. He thought his grief would never heal, but after a strange experience, Subaru began to come to terms with Miki’s death.
